Stopping the run is imperative in the game of football. You have to take away the opponents ability to move the rock, especially between the tackles.
On this episode Joe and Daniel discuss the umbrella run fits, how you can use it with the scheme, coaches, and players you have now, and how you can stop any offensive formation or scheme.
How can Umbrella Run Fits fix our problems?
• You have to have a system, specifically one that’s built around your run fits
• If you’re struggling to stop the run, you’re likely not fitting all of your players into a system of fits by each position
You can execute run fits with what you have in place
• Regardless of what scheme you’re running now, you can fit it to the Umbrella Run Fit system
• No matter the players you have, you can get the right ones on the field to fit within the Umbrella Principles
Your players CAN stop the run, regardless of what offensive scheme you’re facing
